Sharing Our Joys and Concerns

* Call to Worship

* Affirmation of Faith        “The Apostle’s Creed”
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic* church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. AMEN.                                 *universal

* Prayer of Invocation

* Hymn of Adoration               “All Glory, Laud and Honor”            Red Book # 300

Invitation to Confession

Admitting Our Sin to God
God of all, Creator of everything that is, forgive us our sins, which are many, and accept our thanksgivings and gratitude which are so very small. We like to think we are self-sufficient, forgetting that all we are and all we have are gifts of Your grace. We are grateful; help Thou our ingratitude and forgive our transgressions. In the name of Jesus Christ the Lord.  (time of silent, personal confession)  AMEN
Assurance of Pardon

The Lord be with you. And also with you.
Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

. . . and lift our voices in joyful praise:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

. . . and give You glory through Your son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Through Christ, with Christ, in Christ, in unity with the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor are Yours, almighty God, forever and ever.   Amen.

WHETHER you’re investigating the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ, looking for a church home, or have been with us for a long time – welcome! God is real, God is present, and we hope you sense and experience the grandeur of God today in this morning’s worship. Please sign the blue attendance pad and join us in the Fellowship Hall for coffee and light refreshments following the worship service.

TODAY - We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. In the Presbyterian Church (USA), all who sincerely trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone, for the forgiveness of sin, are invited to partake, including baptized children with parental permission.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE FUND – Last year the Session established a Building Maintenance Fund to make payment of large repair bills easier. A hearty thanks to all who have contributed to this fund. It is deeply appreciated. The Building Maintenance Fund  along with our monthly cash flow has made the payment of the parking lot repair and seal coating possible without drawing upon other reserves. Now the fund is depleted. As the Lord leads, please consider contributing to the fund so we can be prepared for future significant repairs.

OUR DAILY BREAD (LARGE PRINT EDITION) - Complimentary copies of Our Daily Bread for April, May, and June are located on the table in the Narthex. Many find this daily devotional aid helpful to their spiritual growth.

God is always present and always at work.
